Theresa’s journey with Treadwell began in March 2022, when her passion for her work as a direct service provider in Education and Social Services nonprofits seamlessly translated into a role in data management and evaluation. Her first encounter with data was through ETO, where she captured and reported program data for a Supportive Housing program in New York City. Her dedication to impactful service delivery was recognized when she was nominated as a panelist for a discussion on working with families through a trauma-informed framework at the Supportive Housing Network of NY’s annual conference. This experience solidified her transition into data management, as she led the implementation of Apricot for a North Minneapolis community center. She believes in a holistic view of data: every person working within and served by a nonprofit can help shape and benefit from representative and efficient data solutions and evaluation.
Theresa’s background is a unique blend of experiences, with a degree in Elementary Education that often surprises her clients. She is a living example of how a diverse professional background can enrich data work, demonstrating that math, business, or science degrees are not always necessary to excel in data management. Her unique perspective and varied experiences bring a valuable dimension to her work.
Theresa’s life outside of work is just as vibrant as her professional life. She is an avid reader, a passionate aerial performer and teacher, and a fan of ‘The X-Files’ and the Minnesota Twins. Her kitten, Edie, adds a playful element to her life with her tail-chasing and early-morning wake-up calls. Theresa’s love for ice cream is a sweet indulgence she never says no to.
