JOSEPH WOODFIN
Project Manager
SPECIALTY: Project Management
Joseph Woodfin is a cross-functional leader at Treadwell whose work integrates operational strategy, organizational performance, and deep client partnership. With more than a decade of experience managing high-stakes programs and developing high-performing teams, Joseph is a project manager who helps Treadwell clients strengthen their internal processes, implement Apricot and ETO systems with confidence, and build sustainable capacity long after the project ends. He believes that projects ultimately succeed or fail based on leadership, and he is an avid student and practitioner of servant leadership.
Joseph brings a unique blend of project-management rigor and people-centered leadership to the Treadwell team. His background includes both project management and executive coaching; he has led multimillion-dollar federal contracts, overseen onboarding and hiring system redesigns, and designed award-winning leadership development programs that became critical growth drivers within their organizations. He applies that same systems thinking at Treadwell; helping nonprofits translate complex workflows into clear configurations, intuitive user experiences, and actionable data structures to help teams get the job done.
Joseph is particularly skilled at guiding clients through change management, staff adoption, and cross-team alignment. He works closely with nonprofits to map processes, clarify decision points, and ensure that Apricot or ETO setups reflect the real-world needs of frontline staff, program managers, and leadership teams. His approach consistently leads to smoother rollouts, stronger data integrity, and long-term system ownership.
Joseph’s commitment to mission-driven work aligns deeply with Treadwell’s values. He believes that high-quality case management systems amplify impact when paired with strong teams, clear processes, and thoughtful training. His work helps organizations not only “get the system right,” but also build the operational practices needed to sustain and scale.
Joseph lives in Detroit, MI, with his wife and three children and enjoys Alabama football, reading about history, strength training, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, and complex strategy games.
